How to turn stress into strength

office worker male

Unfortunately, stress and tragedies are part of life. As much as that doesn't make us happy to admit, it doesn't make it any less real. On any given day, we can be faced with an extreme amount of stress. Stress from our jobs, stress over finances, stress over life responsibilities, and more.

Due to this high level of stress, we can find ourselves procrastinating on the things in life that are truly important such as our health (physical, mental and spiritual), goals, and relationships. Typically, we find ourselves using the lack of "x" excuse - whether it be lack of motivation, lack of accountability, or lack of time as the way to justify putting off the truly important things in life that provide us energy, purpose, and growth.

Life rarely, if ever, slows down to accommodate our personal needs. So, does that just mean we stop striving for self-improvement? Of course not! We have to learn how to manage our energy (not our time) to the best of our abilities and take whatever curveballs that get thrown our way to be used as fuel to project ourselves forward. Easier said than done, we know...

That is why we invited Nick Ross to join us for this week's 1 on 1 interview. If you're not familiar with Nick Ross, he is a cancer survivor, public speaker, and aspiring Men's Physique pro competitor. He joined us and provided some tangible tips and strategies so we can get out of our own heads, and finally learn how to manage our stress and turn potential tragedies into growing opportunities so YOU will never have to rely on motivation or accountability ever again to move you forward.
